What’s inside every cabin?

The same experience, wherever you hide

Every hideout sits somewhere different. A hillside, a riverbank, a valley buried in cork trees. That's the whole point - each one drops you in a different corner of wild Portugal, somewhere most people never find.

But here's what doesn't change…

Wherever you end up, the same things are waiting for you when you arrive. The details that make it easy to switch off, slow down, and actually be present. We've thought hard about what those are - argued about it more times than we’d like to admit - and we're not leaving any of them out.

Mira, up on the ridge and away from everything.

A bed you won't want to leave

We didn't cut corners on the bed. You'll notice. A seriously comfortable bed with proper linen, positioned so the first thing you see when you open your eyes is wild Portugal doing its thing outside the window. Less alarm clock, more nature documentary.

A kitchen that won't let you down

Remote doesn't mean roughing it. Every utensil you need is already there - no frantic list-checking, no "did we pack the tin opener" panic halfway down a dirt track. Complimentary coffee and tea for the morning, and all the essentials you need to cook on the gas or take it outside to the fire - either way, you’re sorted.

A hot shower and eco-toilet

Off-grid doesn't mean cold showers and questionable toilet situations. All our hideouts are blessed with solar-powered hot water and a composting toilet too - kinder to the planet, and honestly, no big deal.

Analogue comforts

Books, connection cards, games, things with actual pieces you can lose in the grass. No screens required. Made for afternoons that stretch out in the best possible way, and that you'll still be talking about on the drive home.

Outdoor cooking and fire-pit

Because why would you eat inside? Long evenings, slow dinners, the kind of conversations that only happen when there's no signal and nowhere to be. The terrace is where the days end and the good bits start.

We’ll keep finding new corners of Portugal to hide in. The details will always stay the same.

✨ Ready to disconnect?

Trot

Trot is tucked away on the banks of the Tagus river. Wake up to wide open views across the water and a private island where horses roam and birds skim. Space to chill out, take a deep breath and disconnect.

Mira

Mira sits high on a hillside, with wide open views down a cork tree valley. Hike straight from your door during the day, then sink into the terrace sofa for sunset. A quiet perch to slow down and take it all in.
